Each edition of Photo Kathmandu recognizes an individual who has contributed to the growth of Nepali photography through the Photo Kathmandu Award of Excellence. This contribution could be through the excellence of an individual’s photographic work, or initiatives that have nurtured the medium and helped Nepali photographers grow.

Last year, Photo Kathmandu Award of Excellence 2015 was handed over to Mr. Mani Lama from H.E. Dr. Urs Herren, Ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal.

We will continue the tradition this year as well, join us for the opening ceremony and award night to find out who will win it this year.
