Anne Golaz graduated in 2013 from the Photography Master Program at the Aalto University of Art and Design, Helsinki. She previously attended the Photography School in Vevey, Switzerland, and in 2012, spent six months at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Golaz’s series Metsästä (From The Woods) has been exhibited in several places, published by Kehrer Verlag as well as being selected among the best photobooks of 2012 by the Aperture Paris Photo First Book Award. She belongs to the Finnish artists’ collective Maanantai and recently created Aaluägä books—a platform for artist books—with Myriam Ziehli.
