Athena Zelandonii is an Australian freelance social documentary photographer and visual storyteller, and current Issue Editor of the non-profit and unashamedly political, ideological, and ground-breaking publication, The Australian Photojournalist. Athena graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Photography with First Class Honours from the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, with majors in photojournalism and print journalism. She uses visual storytelling to influence change, explore and critique the human condition, and investigate issues of class, sexuality and gender.
