Christiane Brosius is professor of Visual and Media Anthropology at the Heidelberg Centre of Transcultural Studies, Heidelberg University. She conducts research on emerging art scenes and large art events in Delhi and Kathmandu. Brosius is co-founder of Tasveer Ghar (‘House of Pictures’): A Digital Network of South Asian Popular Visual Culture (with Sumathi Ramaswamy, Duke University; Yousuf Saeed, New Delhi).
