Indu Antony is visual artist from Kerala, based out of Bangalore, India. Initially trained as a physician, she went on to pursue visual imagery. Her visual aesthetics include tinges of activism, feminism and performance. Indu works closely with the LGBT community, with a photo installation dealing with issues of body positivity among the transgender community in Bangalore and as the first photographer to have a large-scale body of work on the drag kings of India. She won the Toto Funds Award for photography for the year 2011.
