Julián Barón lives and works in Segorbe, Spain. He works in mixed media, utilizing photography, video, sound collage, installation, books and others. Julián’s work offers unorthodox points of view and weakens the rigidity of the collective imagination and official speeches that build memory, history, and identity through pictures. His body of visual work reacts to convulsive socio-political events and allows him to take a critical positions.
