Madiha Aijaz lives and works in Karachi, Pakistan and often employs photography and film in her practice. Aijaz is interested in how pleasure, privacy and entertainment are experienced in spaces which have become peripheral to civic life, but which by tenacity and chance continue to survive.She teaches at the Habib University in Karachi and holds an MFA in Photography from Parsons, The New School for Design, with a Fulbright Scholarship.

Recent exhibitions include: Liverpool Biennial, UK (2018), Solo show at The Tetley, Leeds, UK (2018) Karachi Biennale, Pakistan (2017) and the 10th International Documentary & Short Film Festival of Kerala, India (2017)
