Maia Ruth Lee is an artist born in Korea and raised in Kathmandu. She moved to the U.S. In 2011. Lee’s work, inspired by her upbringing in Nepal, deals with the intricate fabric of human conditions, signs and language. Her experience seeps back into her work in the forms of photography, installation, sculpture and painting.
