Micha Bruinvels has been at World Press Photo for well over a decade, starting as a project manager for youth education, corporate publications and the Children’s Jury. Bruinvels became manager of the World Press Photo Contest in 2004, when he initiated and completed the transition to a full-fledged digital workflow. He has also managed the Multimedia Contest since its inception in 2011.
